Free Print and Play (PnP) templates – A4 and US Letter
Creating your prototypes has just become easier.
Whether you’re designing your next board game or testing a new idea, having clean, reliable card templates saves time and hassle. I’ve created two free Print-and-Play (PnP) card templates to help speed up your prototyping process — and I’m offering them for free download.
What’s Included
You’ll receive both A4 and US Letter versions of each template to suit your printer, available in PDF and JPG formats for easy editing:
- 3 x 3 Poker-Sized Card Sheet — Print 9 cards per sheet.
- 2 x 3 Poker- ized Card Sheet — Print 6 cards per sheet, with optional gutter folding for double-sided designs.
These are designed with clear-cut lines and margins, making them ideal for quick, homemade prototypes.
How to Use Them
- Download the PDF or JPG files.
- Add your card designs in your preferred editor – I use Adobe Illustrator, but PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides work too.
- Print on standard paper or card stock.
- Cut along the guidelines and you’re ready for playtesting.
For double-sided cards, the 2×3 sheet includes an optional foldable gutter to aid alignment when sticking fronts and backs together.
